Nesti Dante’ was founded shortly after the second World War in Florence, Italy. After being sent in search of some meat to feed his family, young Dante fell from his bike, making him late for the butcher. The butcher took pity on Dante and gave him a slab of fat left over from the sold out meat. He told him to make some soap, which, at the time, was in very short supply. This was the beginning and by 1947 his small venture was a thriving, registered company.

Still a family business, ran by the second and third generations, working within the family motto “we work not to be the biggest, but to be the best.”

Harvested in Amalfi, the myrtle leaved orange, also known as chinotto, is a unique Italian citrus fruit, famed for its bitter orange, intense aroma and antioxidant properties. The evergreen plant is rich flowering with an abundance of fruit which is high in vitamin C.
